Two old Oldsmobiles by the side of the road

Saw both of these over the last week.

This one is on the lot of the same dealer from whom I bought my '73 Delta 88 last year. This place is the ever-changing car show I've mentioned before.

Beautiful 1962 Dynamic 88 Holiday Coupe. It had just rained, so the car was wet. The place was closed, but the car was not locked, so I was able to get some photos of the interior as well.

No price tag or sticker or anything in the window. He probably just got it and hasn't had a chance to "process" it yet.

Saw this one at the location of an auto repair shop east of Rochester, New York. The place was closed at the time (about 3 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon), so there was no one to ask about the car. No price on it or anything, but it was sitting out there like it was for sale.

1963 F-85 four-door sedan

The blue 1962 Dynamic 88 is listed on Facebook Marketplace for $19,500 and claimed to be ine family owned.

It also has what appears to be a Buick Dynaflow shift quadrant, which IMHO is not an improvement over a SlimJim.

Dynaflow?
No '62 Olds ever had a Dynaflow.
The only Olds that had a Dynaflow were a few '53's made after the Hydra-Matic factory burned down.

This one for sure has no S position on its indicator. Either someone somehow replaced the SlimJim with a Dynaflow or pre-58 PowerGlide, or someone really botched up the shift indicator. Or maybe even switched a whole Buick or Chevrolet engine and transmission into it.
