Oldsmobiles at the 2nd Racedeck Nationals in Salt Lake City - May 2021
My wife and I went to this show last year, the inaugural year. It was held in July then, but they moved it to May. The weather can be a bit more iffy in May than in July in SLC, but they had a perfect day the middle day, Saturday the 22nd, which was the day we were there.
I saw a grand total of eight Oldsmobiles.
No one was wearing a mask. Masks are suddenly so April 2021.
1950 88. Modified. For sale, too.
1960 Dynamic 88 showing that patina that makes it worth $20,000. For sale, too.
1962 Cutlass. This one was in the inside display area.
1968 442

1975 (I think) Hurst/Olds W-30. This one was not on the show field but rather was in a roped-off area in the parking lot. Not sure what the situation was as it didn't look to be a for-sale area. I thought this was one of the nicest Oldsmobiles, if not one of the nicest cars, at the show.
Thanks for posting the pictures, I missed this show again this year. I've seen the 62 Cutlass before at the Peach days show and Logans run (Cache Valley Cruise in) but, I can't recall seeing the others. Oldsmobiles are few and far between here. Not many people here wearing masks unless they are in a car by themselves.
