Teepo wins her first trophy!!!
Guys, we did it!!!! She brought home the gold today, lol!! We went to a show "down south" in Ravenna, and we placed in the top 12!!! And yes, there was more than 13 cars there, lol! 
I still can't believe it! I was crying like a girl!!
I just hugged everyone and was trying to wipe my eyes, and Oh God! I was sooooooo excited! I almost didn't go because of the chance of storms, but we had no rain there at all. It did rain here at home, so I guess the storms were scattered. Hope it's like that tomorrow.
One of the judges came over to me while I was taking pics of the trophy with her, and he really made me feel good about all the work I've put in the car. He said how beautiful and immaculate she is, how he could tell that a lot of time and effort goes in to her, that she is appreciated. He said the only thing he sees that I should do is replace the rubber that goes around the trunk, as hers is cracked in places.So here are some pics of a very happy lady and her car, and the most beautiful trophy in the whole world!!!!

I told you it wouldn't be long, lucky I wasn't there.
Chickened out of the Mayfield Cruise, roads are wet and now I really can't drive because I have to open a bottle of champagne to celebrate my...your victory Sandy.
There's only a slight chance of showers for the show tomorrow, feels like a jungle outside now, should be fun.
I stopped and looked at a '72 Cutlass convertible sitting in a drive for sale today.
It was really rough but somebody made walnut inserts for the dash with hand painted flowers and "Cutlass" written in script on the glove box. They were sitting in the trunk, the owner spent 20 minutes trying to open the trunk through the lock hole with a screwdriver then handed the tool to me, I don't want to brag but I swear I had it open in three seconds.
I told the guy I know a girl with a Cutlass who would love those tacky looking wood things, he laughed then handed me the left side of the column piece and the glovebox piece, the other one is still on the dash. The fine works are a little worn and some screw holes in them but are cool 70's era folk art, car has white plush carpet A pillar covers and chebby orange **** carpet door panels too

I already registered too, and it better not rain! I just watched the forecast - storms through the night, and hot, muggy and miserable tomorrow with the same scattered storm thing going on. Channel 3 just said 30% chance of rain tomorrow, so that's a 70% chance it won't. Dan2286 - Are you going to the show tomorrow?? Stop and say hi if you do!
I have The Prettiest One all cleaned up again and ready to roll tomorrow!! I still can't believe I have a trophy!!

I might be a little jealous, but very happy for you! It is great when all of your hard work is recognized. After all, sanding that heater hose bracket was tough...
Kudos to ol' blue for getting that engine bay so spiffy.

Thank you all!! I don't have a mantle to put the trophy on, so I guess I'll have to get a climate controlled case to put it in, lol!! I couldn't have done it without Bluevista's help, and advice and tips from all of you guys!! It was a group effort! Rob..... Bluevista christened her "Teepo"!

I can come over and put a giant stone fireplace in your house with a nice mantle to set that trophy on.
