Oldcutlass wins a trophy!!!

Well after over 2 years of me n the boy working on the old gal, it finally got noticed. There were about 200 cars at this event and I spent 5 hours yesterday cleaning her up. I personally was not expecting it to win, but the public like her!! I attatched some before and after pics!

Nice job.............A great feeling I know,I just got a top 50 in a locall show,As you can see my car is somewhat of a oddball with the cowl hood...........Jerr

Congratulations, oldcutlass! You are going to drive that puppy up to north of Ft Worth in October for the NTOC Zone Show, aren't you? Be a good, short road trip, and lots of fun with other Oldsmoibler's, including drag racing at a track in Denton on Saturday evening (or you can watch the races). Should be posted on the NTOC web site soon, if not already. Hope you can make it. Very nice convertible!

Aron, sorry Richard is right, it's a hardtop. Its painted pearl white with some really cool old school pin stripes!!

I'm going to try and make out there with you guys for the zone show. I don't think its quite ready for the drags yet!!!! Its got an original 330/4v and ST300 with 129K miles on it. The only person into that motor was me when I did the valve job. So needless to say I'm not ready for it to have an untimely death as of yet!!

Sorry to hear about your car!!

By the way took it out to Stephenville for their 4th of July show, Christian CLassic Cruisers, and it won a Ladies Choice Award. I told my wife that I thought it was me that influenced the award. She emphatically said "NO" it was the car!!
