sitting here wondering....

was looking at Aceshigh project thread of his car and i was wondering... Is it possible to hooka t-56 to an Olds motor?

Would be pretty awesome having a olds 350 or even a 455 hooked up to a 6 speed. Or is this just dumb sounding?

And ...... discuss lol

Yes it is possible they made kits for addapting the T56 to various motors. Most companies that sell the T56 trans offer them. I looked into it for my 79 TA that had a 400 BB.

Ring Quick Time Performance products and go with one of there bellhousings. My 455 to T56 Magnum was an easy matchup and they do late GM 4sp auto as well.

Here are some pictures of my 72 Cutlass project and cutting the floor doesn't need to be that excessive. Might be time for your next project!
