Resurface lifters

Resurface lifters

Can machine shops resurface old lifters instead of paying 600$ for new .921 lifters? I’d like to upgrade cam. Curious if lifters could be recrowned and used to break in a new cam?

also any recommendations on a machine shop in Philadelphia area?

Perfect. It can be done.
I have very old VL59 worth possible to resurface them? That thread was talking about stock lifters.
