Repo a-frame seals not right

I have recently purchased a set of repo black fender wells from The Parts Place for a 1968 Cutlass. Had a set of repo A-frame seals from Fusick which ultimately came from R.E.M. When I laid the new seals inside the new fender wells it was poor fit. Not knowing which was right I removed a used seal from an old fender well. It appears the A-frame seals are not correct don't know if anybody else has had this problem. Ordered some blank masticated rubber from Ebay and cut my own. Made a paper doll template from cardboard and you can see the difference. The top has nice radiuses in the OE but the repo's are a little choppy looking length & heights are different too. Don't know if anybody else has had this problem.

I ordered repro a frame seals for my 72 from ILT. They were an exact match in every way.
