Hope you used polyurethane - night and day difference from stock, for a couple dollars!

Good Job! That's 50 lbs of weight from behind the axle. Equivalent to at least 100lbs sitting in the car. You can also replace the front stabilzer bushings while you're at it, doesn't take much and it will help with the handling. Next you'll have to check your (gasp ) ball joints and control arm bushings. They probably need doing too! I know, one thing at a time.

NOTE: whatever you do, don't let Rob (Lady72nRob71) find this thread or he'll be all over you like a Scotsman on a dollar bill. He'll definitely try to entice you to the dark side with all the stuff I just mentioned Go ahead, ask me how I know...

My neighbor bought poly bushings for his 2006 Tacoma in 2007 and threw out his OEM parts. Now his truck squeaks worse than the proverbial wheel without grease. And it's the bushings. He's just too lazy to do anything about it now. You can hear his truck squeaking down the road long before you see it. Probably an isolated example though....

I went with OEM style rubber bushings. Cheaper than poly but they are black instead of the pretty colors of the poly ones

Nope, not this time Peter. Our young friend has his priorities and projects in line to keep the car driving. Can't imagine why he would want to drive such a great looking car this whole summer... One lost sale for Mr. Young . How's your CS coming along. Haven't visited you for awhile.

Hey Alan: gathering some photo documentation before updating. Work is progressing but need evidence to share. I expect some early next week.
