Rear coil springs

any ideals on what will make my cutlass sit back at stock level......mine kinda sagg in the back and i want it to sit up level ...i thought maybe it would be the shocks... i changed them out and it still sits the same.....so my next guess is the coil springs....will the coil springs at the local auto parts store work fine???????

Put a set of air bags in the springs is the easiest and cheapest and then is adjustable. You can replace the springs.......It is very easy to do a bit more costly unless you find a used set that would be at the right height you want

The Moog springs should work fine - available at rockauto or your local shops.
I changed mine to the Moog HD versions and the rear sits about an inch higher than it would with some new standard springs.
Springs will sag over time - not good for sudden dips in the road.

Let us know what you get and how they work out.
Be sure to get new insulators, also (mount at top sides only).

The nice thing is that the springs change out easily, and it would be easy to exchange them for a different set if you are not happy with the height or ride.
Here is some replacement info, if it will help ya:

springs hold up the car, shocks control the rebound.

if you can compress the shocks by hand how can they hold up a 2 ton automobile?

I'm talking regular shocks, not spring or air assisted
