Question about parts place bumpers
I bought a front bumper for my 72 from TPP. The finish is good. not great but good. I am still in the process of getting it lined up. Not sure if it is the bumper or my brackets but I cannot get it to adjust far enough to the right. There is a gap of about 3/4" on the left side and it is tight to the fender on the right. I plan to modify the brackets adjusting holes a bit to correct the issue.

Careful of the chineamium offshore junk. Get a good core and have it re-chromed. Most of the time the bumper shops will have a supply of cores. Northstar (I believe Keystone may have bought them out) in Minnesota and Paul's in PA are two good ones. North Star did my last set triple show. They are flawless!
I got my front bumper from the parts place. I would call it driver quality. It has the chrome finish that I would compare to what moder trucks have kinda looks a little thin but it has a nice shine and and is not too cheap to where it will surface rust if you let water sit on it. I bought a bumper for my fiances k5 blazer from keystone and it rusted up from water sitting on it.
