Parts Place Aluninum intake question

Hello again. has anyone bought a re-pop W-30 intake from the parts place. They are pretty pricey, but not compared to an original. I hate to pay over 500 bucks for a piece of scrap metal. Let me know. Thanks!

Make sure its what you want because their return policy is one-sided. I spent over $3K in parts with them last year and we are arguing over $17 shipping to return a rubber trunk mat. I'll never buy another item from The Part Place. Just my .02 cents.

I did and it looked great, but.... its still sitting on the shelf, never used it, bought it years ago as I thought my original one was too warped to be used again - I was wrong, thankfully

Maybe OP & Steve can make a deal on the extra one?

yes, I may decide to sell it, I have another manifold leak that I will be tackling this spring so that's' why I'm still holding onto it. I'm hoping its just the gasket and not the manifold. From what I remember it looks exactly like the original except for no date stamp on the bottom. I'm sure there may be other differences but not that I noticed on first inspection.

I paid 50 dollars shipping for the OAI air cleaner assembly from them. I should have just driven over there to pick it up. I would be upset too if I bought $3k worth of stuff from them and they haggle over a return shipping payment.

I would hate to see that it would need mods to fit, like most other repop stuff...

Good question - I've been wondering the same thing.

Yea, I'm kind of leary after buying a taiwan deck lid. I think it is a 1/2 narrower than my rusted original.
