Power steering leak? Something else?

hey all,

I noticed a small puddle forming under my ‘57 88 after I took it out last week and I found the line that’s leaking on the front crossmember. I bought the car with the knowledge that the power steering pump was leaking, but it hadn’t been addressed. Now that I’m driving the xar, it appears more active than I thought. Reservoir was 1/2 empty and I have only filled it once literally just after purchase 7 months ago. You can see the drip in the third pic.

I just want to ask if I have this diagnosed correctly and that is a steering line in the pic?

I am relatively new to these cars and all there idiosyncrasies, so any help is very appreciated.

You need to figure out where the leak originates, the drip could start from above. Clean everything off and inspect with the engine running perhaps with a helper turn the steering wheel back and forth.

You can even get a dye penetrant kit to help ID a leak that you can't find the source of.
