Possible good news for anyone restoring an interior?

It seems the ridiculous lead times on upholstery created by Covid may have finally started to get under control. On Feb 7th, I was able to purchase the last set of black 71 "S" bucket seat covers that OPGI had in stock. I was originally going to buy Distinctive because the car will be a driver. However, Legendary was in stock and I didn't really want to wait until September (expected delivery date of the Distinctive covers) to finish the car. Once I ordered the front Legendary covers I figured I might as well get in line for Legendary rear covers which were on back order with an expected arrival time of mid-July, so I placed an order for the rear covers on Feb 9th. Surprisingly, I got an update that the back covers had shipped on March 21. I have been checking for shipping status updates daily with nothing new other than "on the way" so I was not too hopeful, but the covers did actually arrive today 4 months ahead of their original expected delivery date.

Just covers from OPGI. I got foam for the buckets from eBay that worked out really well. The back seat is actually in really good condition except for the fact that it has blue CS covers and is going in a black interior "442" holiday coupe.

I can't speak directly to COVID back orders/lead times, etc. but when I first began considerations for replacement upholstery, seat covers, material, carpet for my 71 CS convertible I wanted only Legendary - I'm glad I sourced it to Legendary; and, while they did give me approximate shipping fulfillment times, the materials always arrived ahead of time. I find their customer service personnel to be top-notch, always eager and capable of assisting & their products are first-rate, IMO.
