POR 15 color question
You guys have convinced me to try POR 15 engine enamel on my 455 Vista cruiser. What is the correct red color for a 69 455?
Here are my choices

HMMMMM
We need Cutlassgals opinion. Afterall, women see true color
Seriously, in those charts the Hemi Orange might come close. I've owned a couple Mopars but the color is usually closer to Chevrolet Orange.
As I recall, Olds's red was very close to Buick's red. Like I said, call in the girls for a "critical" decision as such

I just hope it isn't like the black stuff. If it is keep it off your skin or you will have to 1 wear it off or two scrb your skin just about raw to get it off or at least half to 3/4 of it off.I used that stuff several times and learned fast.I ended up in a old rain suit when working on my blue car so I didn't change color.

That Chebby red paint looks more like a dark burnt orange, did on my '57 at least.
The guys at this place say the Furd Red is real close.

Well, looking at that chart, I'd have to say the Ford T Bird red looks more red to me. The Chevy red looks a little maroonish, and the Hemi I'm not sure. Hard to tell. Ford or Hemi? It's like ordering lipstick from Avon online!! Arrrrgh... or looking at Behr paint samples under flourescent lights at Home Depot! I always have to take them over to the lamp section and look under a regular light or outside, to see the true color! Heck, the Olds Gold on the chart looks tan to me... LOL! Not much help am I?? Sorry! I can spend hours looking at Behr paint colors.....

First a Tiger in the tank and now paint made out of Bears?
Almost as bad as baby food, those poor little babies, and they even put there picture on the jar.

I don't care for any of them. I guess it's back to Fusick's

All POR15 is like that. Don't ask me how I came to that factual conclusion...

To get as close as possible to the color you want (model/year of car) your local auto paint store may be able to help finite the color, making it lighter or darker, adding hues etc, much like what other paint stores offer. Granted it may cost you more, but if you are going for originality, this may be an option to explore.

Too bad Bill Hirsch doesn't have the red... I would use his stuff over POR.
