Thanks Joe,
It sounds like a pretty serious time commitment. You can see by all the responses your efforts are well appreciated.
Keep up the good work!

Congrats! Think you can also include '64s over on www.ultra-high-compression.com on the coverage thing!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words. I can't take all the credit, however. There are many other folks on this site who are equally well informed and willing to help. Thanks to all of them.

Joe, I've been meaning to set the record straight since an exchange we had 2 or 3 years ago
on a thread about disc brake conversions on an"A" body.
I was in the process myself of doing such a conversion at the time and mentioned
what was supposed to be the correct length hose seemed too short.
You mentioned you had done several of these conversions and the original length hose worked fine.
Well, you were right.
I didn't consider the fact that the car was jacked up and the shocks were fully extended.
Once on the ground, the original length hose worked fine.
I won't question "the Guru" again.

I own a '67 442 but anytime I see Joe Padavano on a posting, no matter what year it concerns, I read it because the guy always has straight answers and I often learn something. Glad he's here for us.

Joe was kind enough to help me register on this website when the spam filter made it impossible otherwise. Thank you, sir.

Advertisement limiting site access

I have noticed that for some time it has been difficult to use the menu bar that is towards the top of the page. It has the links to Gallery, user CP, FAQ, Community, Calendar, New Posts, Search Quick Links, Vendor Directory, Used Cars and Log out. What I am experiencing is that if you direct the cursor over each of these headings it drops down a secondary menu of places to navigate to. The current advertisement just below it is for FORD,. the drop down menus are going behind the advertisement making it not possible to access the drop down menu options.
I am wondering if there is a cure for this? Is is something I need to do to my computer or is it a site issue?

Thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

Thanks also for a great site.

Larry

I have the same problem but everyone that responds will tell me that it's because I use IE, don't have AdBlock, etc; so it's really my fault

I'm using Firefox and I do have ad blocker going, but I have no problems using the drop-down menus. I'll elevate this to the admins.

Just checked its behavior on my Win 7 work computer running Chrome and AdBlockPlus - no problem at all.

If you weren't using IE, or if you had AdBlock Plus installed...

I just tried it using Edge on my Win 10 machine (without adblock), and no problems there either.

Thanks for all who are paying attention. I just logged on and now we have the advertisement with the green motorcycles and it is working correctly for me. I changed nothing.
