You either have some wrong brackets or some wrong pulleys. You're going to have to check them all.

There are letters on the pulleys. See if you can find them. The water pump pulley has like 3 different depths. Possibly someone switched it out. Maybe the wrong water pump was put on. There are 3 different lengths of them also.

If the pulleys are not lined up it will throw a belt. There is a spacer on the PS bracket that might be missing. It goes on the side of the block. Maybe post a pic and someone might be able to spot something.

Yes...a pic from a few angles would help. The belts should be in a straight line if you are looking from either side.

You have apparently failed to properly install the two spacers between the PS pump bracket and the block. One goes on the lower stud on the front cover and the other goes under the tab that bolts low on the side of the block. This is a common problem and a frequent question here. Search will turn up photos and diagrams.

The lower PS bolt and spacer is hard to access and hard to see unless it's on a lift, and easily lost when the bolt is removed.

Check out wild about cars. They have all these factory publications on the site. It's a really helpful place.

You can also type power steering brackets into the search box on this site and get this thread, which has many photos and diagrams.

Inline tube has the spacer pair if you need them, they are on ebay. Maybe somebody here has them kicking around, too.
