Master Cylinder Rebuild Service Supply Chain Problem..??

There is a shop locally (BRAKE and EQUIPMENT) the does the sleeve rebuild on the 1 1/8 delco unit on our 1971. I was told they had no more "stock" to do any more.. May be 6 months or longer to get material needed.

Anyone in the know about this..??? Apparently his source had been OR is in AUSTRALIA

Bummer.

I didn't know that inserts were used to rebuild master cylinders. I thought it was just a hone that was used like in a slave cylinder kit.

Brad showed me his stock a short piece stainless "tube"
Left from a LONG cylinder length... When they run low they order more...
The x-Man sells them The goods.. He has NONE and has not even placed and order 4 resupply yet... As of 17OCTOBER2025
He estimated at least 6 months... Close to when he plans to RETIRE from THE SHOP.
