Engine to sell. Needing advice/suggestions.
Engine to sell. Needing advice/suggestions.
Hi all,
Due to some financial issues, I had to part with the 98. Back in March, it went to a good home and I'm happy with the price I got.
Prior to selling the car, I purchased a 350 from a 1971 Cutlass that was in a salvage yard. It's the long block with oil pan, valve covers, and a few other goodies. Casting number is 395558 with #7 heads. It's seized and I have no intention to rebuild. I have nothing to put the motor into.
Would it be better to attempt to sell as a unit or are the heads worth separating from the block? As I understand, the #7s are desirable. Better to scrap the whole thing? Still plenty out there? Not sure and was hoping for insight. Thank you!
