Does anybody know ?
What year that GM changed their parts packaging .
The package on the left is black with yellow letters .
The one on the right is newer , and I think is still used . It's blue and white with blue letters .

The Y/B package is old, like early 60's back. The B/W packaging is maybe late 60's up. Parts in red + black "tins" are like early 60's to maybe late 60's. Then "tins" with blue tops + bottoms...then boxes with the turquoise + white. There are no real cutoff dates. You can only get a general idea. And...you can find NOS stuff from the early 60's that fits early 70's.
