I am taking at look at this 56 88 post car for a down the road restoration. If there any Club members in the area that would take a look at this car I would truly appreciate your opinions. I would gladly send you a gift card for your time. Thanks Robski

There is a few guys in the Portland area on here. Gresham is a bedroom community of Portland. I would check it out for you, but I am 150 miles from there.

Funny, but I never knew that there were Delta 88's in the 1950s. I always thought the name was introduced in the mid-60s. You learn something new every day.

No Deltas in the fifties, whoever put the ad together didn't know Oldsmobiles....Tedd

I knew that. I was just making a joke.

What surprises me is that the seller of this car is not a private individual but a dealer. You'd think he'd do a bit of homework before listing the car and correctly describe it. Anyone Oldsmobile-knowledgeable will think he's an idiot, and anyone who's not will buy it thinking they have the only known 1956 Delta 88.

Guys I look past that, he never claimed to be an Old's expert. It's a small garage/note lot.

I just recently found this car on line, and wanted to know if you were still interested in it. I don't want to buy it if you still are. I contacted the seller and it is still available. I am also looking to see if I can find someone to inspect the car before I buy.
