Anybody else find this funny?

Out in CA our local Audi dealer has specially designated spots for electric/low emissions vehicles.

I couldn't resist:

Ha, ha? or Nah, nah?

Funny to me anyway.
Cheers
Chris

Bravo! Work installed 4 EV chargers, but there was only 1 employee in the building with one. Naturally, I did the same.

Awesome!

There are about 6 EV charging stations at work. They also have at least a dozen spaces for subcompact cars. I thought it would be funny to park my 71 98 in a subcompact car spot. At least for a photo shoot.

Considering the pounds of pollution saved by not sending it to a crusher 50 years ago and replacing it with another car, it probably qualifies.

BTW, love that color.

I suspect those are repros for a '69 W-machine, maybe a '66?

Well, it's low, and it emits. Works for me.

Upfront: Not OEM at all. I freely and happily admit that I used 69 442 scoops.

And I got real bored in my garage during covid and throught it would be a fun sorta custom project.

Not sure the fresh air makes any difference at all, but I can say this car can get 15 mpg on the freeway with 3.23:1 gears and a 455/TH400.

Eh, unlucky guess. All I knew is that the HxW ratio wasn't that of '68 W-scoops. Also, not hard to add a shiny trim to black scoops.

Damn I'm getting old, I knew I did something wrong !! Crazy old fart I put them on the wrong end !!! I can park in the low emission space if I didn't have chili for dinner the night before !! as for the EV spots I thought those were reserved for Oldsmobile's EXCEPTIONAL VEHICLES !!!

Factory color known as Autumn Bronze in 1966 for Olds. It's kind of a rust metallic and I've always liked. Plus it was the original color for the car.

Same color was later used as Aztec Bronze in late 60's Chevies. Probably looked good on those cars too!

Cheers
