For the life of me, I can't find the intake anywhere. Any links/ideas?
Yeah, that's the intake on my '67 442. My only suggestion is to make your own bell crank throttle linkage if you plan to go this route. I purchased the Offy linkage but once set-up, it was too flimsy for my liking. I also installed a Lokar gas pedal for a '64-'67 Ch****le with a cable pull setup. 67 Olds 442 Gasser
Alright, so I bought this one (should be shipped today). I'm thinking of just keeping the single carb set up for now, but I'd like a bit more height. Any suggestions for spacers between the intake can adapter?
I'd have to see a side view, but it looks like a carb spacer would be the easiest, albeit funny looking IMO. You're probably looking at a custom piece for a runner/collector extension or a plenum spacer.

I'd rather avoid a carb spacer because it's already going to look hot enough with just a single carb.
I just realized I don't know the model of the intake I got. Anyone got an idea so I can find gaskets and bolts for the intake and top part?
Chase,
If the ports are the same as the low rise Offy manifold I have here then there should be a number on the underside of it. I would think that the stock Olds manifold bolts should be the correct length and you will probably just have to measure the top part to see what you need there. The Fel Pro 1356 gaskets will probably work but it is also going to depend on what heads you are using. I would wait until you had the manifold and measure the ports before you order anything.
Make sure you dry fit it between the heads, check the angle, and bolt hole alignment
Definitely true. The one I have is terrible but I milled .035 off the decks on the block so I was expecting it But it is very uneven from front to back too. You have to check everything.

Yep, I had a Performer that wouldn't seal for crap. The angle to the head surface was off 0075 (015 at one side, top of flange).
I know you dont want to hear it but I would probably say not good at all unless the engine is very highly modified and a lot of cubic inches. On a mild engine a dual plane performer would be much better.

But it will look neat
It's a mild 455 punched to a 468. Just don't want it to be an absolute PoS on the street.
I have never understood why some folks think multiple carbs will perform better than a well tuned single carb set up for the correct air/fuel ratio. They look good but perform?
