1980 442 W30 not hurst equipped

Hello peeps, looking at a white 80 442 hardtop. was told by the owner that these cars did not come with the dual gate shifter. I was not aware of this. Just lookijg for verification. How many made? Thanks

A dualgate shifter was not part of the 442 package in 1980. The console and shifter were standard Cutlass Calais fare.

Keep in mind that the "W-30" was just a decal and not a real performance motor like it was earlier. The VIN does show that the car came from the factory with an Olds 350 (the letter "R" in the fifth position), which means that it is a real 1980 442.
