Hurst Equipped

Not sure the best location for this question but here seemed as good a place as any.

I saw a 70-72 supreme this past weekend w a hurst equipped badge on the trunklid.

is this car anything special ?

what cars came w an emblem like that besides HOs?

This car has not seen the light of day in at least 10 or more years and is a low mile car the emblem looked like it was installed from the factory and not added on. it also had the remains of black stripes that went across the trunklid and down the quarter extensions

this isnt the car but the badge was similar to this one.

All it means is someone bought a badge and slapped it on. H/Os had a different emblem.

I put one of those on my car when I converted it to a 4 speed. It had a Hurst shifter. Nothing special other than a sticker/emblem IMO.

No cars came with this emblem. It's aftermarket.

My understanding is when you ordered Hurst wheels on early Pontiac GTO's this was installed. The emblem does not reference or have anything thing to do with the shifter. I have a couple and still have not decided to put one on my Goat.
