There were more than 2500 made. They are a cool car with an acquired taste and not a big following. Does yours have the 290 in it? Post some pics of the interior.

2545? I thought that was the number, but you could be right. I have to look at title and vin decoder to verify that for you and here's some more pics.

I stand corrected, I thought there were more manufactured. Your car is in pretty nice shape. The AMC guys used to hang out with the Cowtown and Dallas Mopar Clubs.

yea from my understanding was the last year made for it and didn't make so many like the others. This one decoded as 290 2v low comp v8

That is a neat car. Reminds me of the same architecture of the early barracuda.
There is some neat design features that carried on in other models...and makes.

That is hard one to identify from a distance...it always looks like "this" or that car. A lot of folks get it wrong. Good luck with it.

This will definitely be a cool car to take to a car show because you will for sure have the only one there and probably the only one most people have ever seen. It looks to be in pretty good shape.

Those are neat cars something away from the run of the mill. Congratulations!

They can really pop with the right paint.

I was always a fan of the Marlins. Love that roofline. AMC did design quite a few neat cars back in the day. From what I have seen, production values were as follows:
1965 - 10,327
1966 - 4547
1967 - 2545

Congrats on that acquisition!

Congratulations! You've got a very cool car. 1967 was the last year of the Marlin and my favorite of the two different body designs. One thing is for certain, you are pretty much guaranteed to have the only one at any car show you go to.

I've been an AMC fan longer than I've been an Olds fan. In fact, I was driving a 70 390 auto Javelin when I bought my first Olds, a 70 bench seat 4 speed W30, oddly enough off the used car lot at the local AMC dealer. My wife currently has a very nice 74 Javelin. They are too often overlooked but very cool cars

Very cool car!

I've always like the design of the rear window and B pillars on the Marlin. Similar to the Barracuda as well as the 63 Corvette and 71 Buick Rivera.
