Subscribed! Love me the engine swaps.
Just yanked a 215 from a 63 Cutlass to possibly go into a 66 Volvo 122.

I have what was supposed to be a 1971 350 rocket out of a cutlass supreme. I thought it had just number 7 heads but after looking into it more its got #7A heads. The block number is 395558 which your sights Oldsmobile wiki stats was used for both 1968-1970 and 1973-1974 casting numbers the crank has the numbers 393654 stamped on it the blocks been bored +.040 these numbers are on top of the pistons in purple . The number on the pistons underside is 963P will this help me find out what type and who makes them the look like domed pistons not sure ill be posting pics as well

How does the Olds drive train line up? Never done a non GM swap. I love the Olds 350 but have heard the AMC was a very good motor. I know the dog leg heads with the heart shape chambers especially were better than the no quench Olds heads. Unfortunately AMC put the terrible Motorcraft carbs on them.

Never mind all of that stuff -- Put a Toro drivetrain in the back under the hatch!

It's 32M - a 1972 motor built in Lansing.

The windowed blocks for '79 have a different casting number on the top at the front (557265 instead of 385558).
