Help I.D. this connector... Please!
After completing the engine and transmission it's time to turn my attention to the engine compartment and wiring. I've already broken and fixed 4 connectors, jeez these wires are brittle! Anyway, I came across this connector hanging down under the brake booster and cannot figure out what it goes too. It's rubber or plastic (kind of hard to determine) and has 2 slots in a "T" configuration. I do know it isn't the brake switch from the prop valve... Anybody?? Thanks!

Agree with TH400. One of of the two slots in the rubber plug is for downshift and the other for the TCS switch. Not sure about 72, but I am guessing the wire harness was the same for different engine/tranny combos and this plug would be taped back into the harness (hidden) at the factory if it wasn't needed.

It the wire black with an orange stripe? That would be for the kick down on a TH400 for sure then. The other wire would be green for the TCS. If it's been pulled out you had better keep an eye out for it because that green wire is hot all the time the car is running.
