Big Red, our '76 Salon's cruise control vacuum bellows has given up the ghost. I have tried to search for a good one online, but I do not have a known-correct part number. The car has an Olds 350, A/T and A/C if that makes a difference.
Does anyone know the correct part number? And does anyone have a known good one for sale? Failing that, does anyone rebuild these units?
Not sure if this helps but I took a pic from my '76 parts book related to CD. Would the 'bellows' have another name?
Only thing showing in illustrated book is regulator..
sorry for poor pic..

Fusick would never stock something like this because the potential market is far too small. If you search "cruise control" at their site, you find wiring harnesses and speedometer cables and that's about it. Plus, Fusick doesn't have much for cars after 1972 and almost nothing at all for post-1975 cars.
It's almost a certainty these vacuum diaphragms are not made new today. One route is to try to find a junkyard car with a working diaphragm.
Another possibility is that this same part was used in other GM makes around that time. If this same part was used in a Chevy Malibu, say, you might have an easier time finding one. If you can find out what the part number is and then get hold of a parts interchange manual, you might be able to find other cars that used this same part. If it was also used in a Chevy, it might be made new by a Chevy supplier.
I think it's going to take some time and effort to track one down.

I had considered posting the link to Kanter but thought the chances of finding one at Fusick would be better.
Now that we have the part number, is that the same vacuum diaphragm used by older Cutlii?
When I had my 96 98 it developed an intermittent cruise condition. I never cured it before I scrapped the car but I did disassemble the vacuum cruise actuator and clean the rubber parts with belt dressing. While this didn't completely cure the problem it did mitigate the cruise from falling out for a time.
