Radio Antenna

I recently had a new windshield installed on my 70 Cutlass Supreme and the antenna plug wire on the windshield is so long it hits my chrome trim at the bottom of the windshield. Has anyone ever had this problem and what is the best way to fix this issue?

The BEST way? Ditch the plug and install Sirius XM

nothing worthwhile on local radio these days anyway.

I guess it is a preference thing because I enjoy the over-the-air broadcast of the local country music station. It is all classic stuff, 30 years old or older...

The fact that OP made this post indicates he has found something worthwhile to listen to on the radio, so let's help him sort it out.

I'm having a hard time picturing this ... can you post an image?

x2 on posting a pic.

Even if the antenna plug is extra long it will be behind your dash and won't be seen. You could bundle it with zip ties and put a mix 31 RF choke on it if you wanted to.
