Good Day Everyone,

I have a 72 442 convertible.
At present I don't have any power to my top or power windows.
The breaker in the fuse panel has power on both sides but from there I am having trouble figuring out where to look next.
Any help would be appreciated.
It started out that I was putting in a new power window motor, then portion of the harness and then the switch on the driver door to control all 4 windows.
Everything is connected and can't see that there are any blown fuses anywhere.

If I were a betting man, I would look for a short that is tripping the 40 amp breaker....re-check all of your new wiring, connections etc....test the breaker, make sure it’s re-setting.

 

Did you check the accessory power isolation relay? Hint: the wiring diagrams for the power windows and top are in the Fisher Body Manual.
