Hey guys I bought a new key switch for my 1970 oldsmobile does anyone have a video or can tell me a step by step process too changing it out in advance thanks

Go to You Tube. There are many videos. You will need to buy a tool to push the lock plate back.
I bought a cheap one & it broke right away. I had to drill a hole through the socket & stud. I then put a pin in it
so it wouldn't pull apart. The socket was just pinched on the rod. There's a funny & sad video on You Tube where this guy curses
through the whole thing. The service manual doesn't tell you that you may have to break through the casting to get to the
release button. This guy bashed the hell out of the steering column. I felt bad for him.
