Hello,
Looking to replace the part shown in the attachment. Window switch plugs into it. Have searched web for part name but unsuccessfully. Anyone know name and possible purchase location?

That's the power window switch plug.
If you can't fix it, you'll need to get a used one.

If just a broke wire, it is an easy fix.
Find someone into electronics or electrical repair.
Fly me to Seattle and I will do it for a 6 pack!

These are not sold reproduced. Used is the only way, but then you are cutting and resplicing all the wires, not just one.

 

Thanks to both of you, appreciate the info. I think there is some corrosion in the connections behind the cover, besides a wire that was pulled out. Will pry apart and get to fixing. Good to know they can't be purchased, but wish they could be. I guess we all have a long list of those items.

 

What year/model of car? If you can't fix it I may have a good used one.

A dremel tool with the right size diamond cutter and a very light hand will get rid of the corrosion in the contacts efficiently. You want to clean it up, not remove metal.

 

It's a 69 delta 88. Only way to get to the connections is to take/tear off the cover. Would rather not, but not a big deal if I do, I suppose.

 

Put on your engineer's hat and see how the cover can be removed in the least destructive way possible. I am sure there is a way. If you cause some cosmetic damage, it will be hidden, and making the part work again is more important than cosmetics.
