Ash Tray Light Removal - Need Help

Hi there,

1972 Cutlass Supreme Convertible... I'm removing the dash pad and control panel. I have all the fasteners removed and the control panel will come out. However, the ash tray light (grey wire) is not letting me extract it. The housing is riveted to the control panel ground straps. How do I remove the ash tray light without drilling out the rivet?

Thanks.

Figgured it out, was stuck but I was able to extract it.

Grab the part with the wire & it twists out, I forget which way, but it will turn one way or another. You might have to grab the knurled part at the end by the wire with a set of pliers to make it turn.
