do i have too change anything when converting to 12vlt for stock tac

hi I converted over to non points on the 66 starfire so I full 12 volts . my ? is to use my stock tac on the new system do I have too add anything ??????? just hook it too neg side of coil.......

Nothing else is required to run your tach, it hooks up the same way as it did before.
