very new to olds

hi all,
I just made a trade for a 66 Olds Delta 88 2 door. Drove it earlier this evening and it ran and drove. Was pretty rough, the 2 bbl was really rich, and it nearly was brakeless. It has a column shift, I have seen some cars on here with the floor shift and buckets.... looks boss. I ordered a new master brake cylinder... should have the old girl running and driving soon. I am wondering how hard it would be to switch to a floor shift? also i need a right side door. thanks in advance... Gypsy

Depends on whether you want it to look factory, or look like somebody put the stuff in there.

Bucket seats from a 66 Starfire or even Cutlass will work with the right seat mount brackets, as will Strato-bucket seats from any 1966-67 GM car. Floorshift, console and steering column from a 65-66 Starfire will work. 64 console will work but has a different shift quadrant.

Doors from 65 fullsize and 66 fullsize should all interchange however chrome moldings are different.
