Question about interchange between different Cutlass rear ends 1964-65
Hi All
I've got a loose axle out of a 1964 type P rear end. I've been contacted by someone needing a single axle for their 1965 Cutlass with the single bar, Buick style rear end. When I look at my reference book it only shows one part number for the 1964-65 F85 axles, except Vista Cruiser. Am I correct to think both styles of 8.2" rear ends used the same axle shafts?
