Two questions please
One:
Does anyone know if Oldsmobile used a fusible link from the battery to the fuse block? If so, what was the rating?
Two:
I asked for an estimate to run a Y pipe after the catalytic converter splitting to two generic "40 series type" mufflers, and two tailpipes, all stainless 2 inch. The price is $350, does this sound reasonable? (in 1977 Cutlass did not have a double hump crossmember for true duals from the engine.)
Thanks for any help.

Price sounds pretty good. Just had a single exhaust with the whole shebang done on my 95 Regency and it cost just over 600 clams. 350 for the work you want sounds not bad. It sounds like you've already done it though. As long as you like that sound, go for it. I like my 98 quiet like the factory, but my 72?? It's gonna sound awesome. Haven't decided on whether it will be Flowmaster, Dynaflow or Walker. It already has a dual exhaust with 2 1/2 inch pipes and a crossover so the change up should be all that hard. It has a nice rumble right now that's hard to ignore.
