Senior in high school with this. The girls liked to get naked in or around this car. Not real fast but fun none the less.

The car I wish I had back was the 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner I had in high school. Had the 383 with the 4 speed. Fastest car in high school. She could run.

the only car my dad ever owned that was cool - 68 Cutlass S 4door bought in Germany - speedo read 220, km's of course (he usually owned Ramblers and Peugeots)

and my first car - 56 Mercury Monterrey 2 door hardtop - fun on autobahn and little German streets too

69 Goat and 66 Bonneville, with age comes wisdom, and acknowledgement of the stupidity of youth. Sold them both because i didn't have a place to park them and was 25 and more interested in things that smelled better without age or rust. Those things are gone now too........... Whats sad about that is the cars would probably get better with age and how i have more time and money for them.

the one car that I had which I missed was my 73 cutlass s. it had a 350 rocket 4bbl ,do not remember what tranny or RE it had, (had to replace the tranny) I was not in to cars that much . but this car road like a workmans caddy had a awesome stereo in it every time I played AC/DC's back in black I would blow the speakers many times no other tape would do it. it had the swivel buckets and was white with burgundy/maroon interior. had to get rid of it cause the tranny was going again and being that I lived in an apartment with no garage had to sell it. if it was not for that darn tranny I might still have it . other than that I still have my 64 f85 that im trying to restore .had it for 25+ years its a basket case but I love her all the same and it will be a daily driver again

I had a 68 Impala SS back in high school and college. Yellow with a black interior. The school parking lot was full of cars from the 80's and 90's and then there was mine. Sorta stuck out a little.

I wish I had never donated my 1974 Cutlass Supreme to charity. I had a lot of memories in the back seat. I bought a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville with a supercharger. Worst car I ever owned. Had this car for 6 months and donated to charity and wind up getting a 77 Cutlass Supreme.

Went into the Air force in 1989 and had to leave my '68 Post 442 in a storage garage. Only made $168 every 15 days and the storage fee was $100 a month, had to sell.

My 1969 W-30 4 speed convert. I basically threw it away after getting some parts off it in 1974.

My 1977 Cutlass Salon- I listened to some bad advise during my divorce and I returned it to the dealership I bought it from. Voluntary Repo. The worst part? It was in awesome condition and only cost $2500 back in 1998. I kick myself every time I think about it...

Toss up between my first car - a 73 Mach 1 I owned from 1979 to 1984, and a Matador Red 71 Cutlass Supreme I had from about 1991 to 1994. The Mustang's main attraction for me was the fold down rear seat which I put to good use, and the 71 was simply a dream car. It had a perfect white original interior, was fast and handled well. The only thing I did was put a set of SS1's on it. I sold it because I just had to have a Corvette - the single biggest mistake I have ever made with cars.

I'd love to have my high school car back. 1964 Pontiac Lemans, 455 Oldsmobile, Turbo 400 and 3.73 posi. It was painted 1968 Island Teal, the GMC dealership where I had it painted couldn't get the original Yorktown blue. That was a really fun car.

The one I let get away. 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 back in 1978.

Mine was a 64' ElCamino with a hot 350 and a m22 4-speed. I made more money street racing that car, than my friend made at Baskin Robbins. I sold it to buy an engagement ring for my first wife. I don't know what ever happened to her, but I've spent 15 years trying to find that car.

I do not have any that I am just heartbroken over. I still have my first car, a 1971 Monte Carlo I have owned for over 28 years! I have owned more cars and trucks in my relatively short life than I can probably remember, easily over a 100. I can think of a few I would not mind having back though. One would be my 92 Chevy 1 ton dually single cab 6.5 Turbo diesel 5 speed. It was that very nice electric blue color and it ran very well and believed it or not it got 21+ mpg highway and about 16-17 mpg towing a car. It was my first loan and first big purchase and was a great truck! Sold it when I lost my job. My 52 GMC 1 ton nitroglycerin truck I sold because it was such a big project. My 90k mile 71 Nova, my 72 Chevelle SS 402 4 speed, and Hugger orange 69 Chevelle are a few others. I am very happy with the cars I own now, some are in my sig, and some are not. Hopefully I can keep my current collection with some select future additions.

Talking Boomerang...

<< This one
In my avatar...1971 Cutlass S, car I had in high school from 1984-1986.
BUT...
I just bought her back a couple of weeks ago!

She still runs and drives, but I am going to put her on a trailer for the 400mi trip back to my garage. Will post more after it happens.

The second one is my 1993 Thunderbird Super Coupe. 5-speed, leather, loaded, loved that one.

In my humble opinion, the very change that killed Oldsmobile, going from the '87 Cutlass to the '88 Cutlass front wheel drive crapbox. What were they thinking!?

My list:

1. 1968 Road Runner, 28K miles, sold it in 1992 to pay for tuition to the police academy (I don't regret the decision, but wish I could buy the car back)
2. 1970 Super Bee, 383, Hurst Pistol Grip 4 speed, 3.91 Suregrip, Ramcharger hood
3. 1974 Hurst/Olds, 350, original paint
4. 1967 Coronet R/T convertible, one of 196 built
4. 1971 Cutlass Supreme convertible that I'm about to sell

I have the one I would want! I have my 68 442. The car was purchased new by my grandmother I bought it from her in 79. I drove the car my jr and senior year of high school and sold it a year later to attend college. Sold the car to friend who had it for 5 years and put about 500 miles on it. Got a call one day asking if I wanted it back and with out hesitation bought it back. I moved all across Washington state and the car went with me. I am finally finishing a full restoration on the best car I will ever own, and plan on owning for the rest of my life. I always love it when I am asked this question cuz I still have it!

Any AMC love here? I want my 69 Javelin SST 343 T-10 factory Hurst shifter back. Too quick to junk it in the 80's when water started soaking the carpet through the rusted out floorboards. No pics but similar to this one

Got to be the 70 SX I bought new in nov. 69. Bamboo yellow with brown vinyl top and interior. Had the 2 barrel "turnpike cruiser" option, and got excellent gas mileage. Left it with my wife when I went to Vietnam and shortly after that a damn log-hauling truck backed into it and the car sat in the dealership for months while GM was on strike. Wish they had never repaired it. Did a lousy jib and everywhere they painted cracked badly. Made me so sick, I traded it for a damn new Toyota. Hindsight is always 20/20.

A 66 Buick Riviera GS. Helped rebuild that engine with my dad. Then my older brother got ahold of it when I was away at Boot Camp and totaled it.
