Wish I had my camera!!

I was coming home from camping today with the family. Half way home I had to shake my head because I saw a green 69 Cutlass towing a travel trailer. This car look really clean, as in restored and he was towing a trailer with it. Don't know if I would have the ***** to do that!!!! LOL

are you admitting to going camping without the camera. When ever we go that is one of the first thing my wife puts into the Suburban.

I have pictures of my Jetstar parked in front of an old pop-up I used to have. looks cool. but never put the hitch on the Jetstar. My Jetstar has more power than my Suburban.

I have actually thought about putting a hitch on Lady to pull a motorcycle trailer when i got on long trips when i would want the best of both worlds...

Hope he was not overloading the car and was keeping it safe. Hopefully he was enjoying it..

BTW, I rarely leave home without a camera, but yes, sometimes you miss things that you never expect...

I keep toying with getting one of those retro teardrop trailers from the 50's and towing it behind the 57. I think it would be cool. With a custom paint job of course

A small trailer wouldn't shock me. This guy was pulling a trailer at least 15feet long.

I don't think I took any pictures of it but when I moved 10 years ago the only driving car I had was a 1970 442. I had a custom receiver hitch fabricated and put the tandem axle U-Haul trailer behind it. I think it took me 8 trips of about 400 miles round trip to get all my clutter moved! The 455 provided plenty of power going over the mountain passes, but yes the suspension wasn't up to the task and made for a bumpy ride! I'm also glad I didn't have to try a panic braking stop as that would have been more excitement than anybody needs! Oh well, sometimes you make do with what you have

Pat, there's a local dealer selling those re-pop teardrop trailers and if you've not checked them out in person you might look for a chance to. I think they look really good and would make a great addition to road trips with your 1957!!!
