My house has a daylight basement. Its built into the side of a hill. On three sides it look like a ranch style house. on the down hill side and the north side it is two stories. The basement has the media/family room/bar, the laundry/sewing room/ 3/4 bath, my office, and large pantry/storage room. It stays a constant 60 degrees summer and winter. Have to heat sometimes but never need to turn on the AC vents during the summer. Its about 1,100 sq ft
