My Rav 4 was giving up the ghost. Burning oil and trans slipping at 215000 miles. So it didn't owe me anything but was getting worrisome. It is a SEL AWD car. 2.0 ecotec has 51000 miles and was certified for what that is worth. Also was worried about what the tariffs were going to do to prices. Never owned a Ford so I Will see how it goes. Seems to be reliable at least better than the 1.5. The one thing that I really like are the seats. With a bad hip I can sit in it and not be in pain. The heated seats help also.

I cant speak from experience because I have never owned a Ford either, however my sister-in -law has a 2020 Ford escape as a company car , her company allows her to use the car for personal use also so it gets company use and personal use ( vacations etc... ) it has been reliable and trouble free requiring maint. only. hopefully you will have the same luck !!
