Jamesbo I've got a Maine Coon feline that is probably the size of dat rabbit dawg And if you take $200.00 to M & T's you'd have enough meat in your freezer to feed you and your better half for a month or longer. They will vacuum seal it all and or marinade it for you very reasonable.

Morning ya'll, happy Birthday to your wife Jamesbo. Bet you treated her to a great day I would still rather pay for gas over there Jamesbo, I paid $22 the other day to fill my bike up with 4 gallons of gas

I think my dogs would have a at for lunch, just as soon as they figured out what it was lol. Sandy you need to get an electric fence for your place to keep those deer out. They are also good at keeping out unwanted guests Hope Nicole is feeling better, I get hay fever too but it is only from dust, mainly household dust so that gets me out of most of the house work

Great to hear you got that engine running Ken.

Well have a great day everyone,

Adrian

Well we got some good news this afternoon! First we got an email from HR in Houston, telling us that the company is going to match 401k again, 25% right now up to 6% of what we put in. They quit matching in late 2009 when everything started going sour.....

Then we got an email from our owner, saying every employee will get a bonus with our next check! He said it won't be a "big" bonus, but it's a good sign that the company is recovering from the "disaster period", lol.

So I think it's great that the company is doing well again, and our owner appreciates everyone!

Hey.... gas is down to $3.27 a gallon in some places around here..... a real bargain! Hard to believe we think that is cheap nowadays, lol!

Good Morning All!

I can't say that I'd blame ya on calling the fuzz on Bella. I have a "Jerk Russell" that thinks barking louder will get the squirrel down out of the oak tree to come play some more. She (the Russell named Charli) sometimes slips inside and does laps around the house and even actually runs sideways around the sectional sofa. That is pretty funny but the Trophy Wife doesn't think so, those sectionals ain't cheap and this one is brand new.

Yep it clearly states in article 4 section 7 page 5 of the Offishal Gawga Lawdawg Assn. Handbook that if in fact you have only one beagle you have to buy a "special" license and take classes to be able to restrain the said beagle from chasin grey cats, unless you own three then the license and classes are no longer a requirement.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Scot

Good Morning

It is going to be a nice day today, not too warm or cool and no rain!

Probably going for a nice drive with a few other cars to a cruise night out of town tonight.

Today and tomorrow are big days for Ottawa. Obviously Canada Day tomorrow is always big in the National Capital. But this year is even bigger with a visit by Prince William and Kate. They arrive today and will be at some of the Canada Day events tomorrow.

Have a good day.

Morning All!

Been a crazy morning around here! Sun is shining, it's goin up to the high 70's today. Beautiful!!! Hotter and more humid coming in for the weekend.

Went over to the Triple Crown Restaurant cruise in last night - they have canceled Hudson's cruise in - and there were wall to wall cars there! I had to park straight along one of the isles. Must have been 20 cars that came in and circled around trying to find a place to park, and left again. I took some pics - not too many induvidually cuz there were just too many cars. I got there around 6:20. Now I remember why I don't go over there! It was a nice evening though. A bird had nerve enough to crap on Teepo..... I didn't like that! So I had to clean that off. Nasty.......

Will work on downloading the pics - gotta leave here for a doctor appt. and come back, so it will be a while yet.

Jamesbo..... hang in there! Don't have too many bloody mary's, lol!

Have a good day all!

It is going to be a sunny but warm day here today.

Good Morning All and Happy Canadian Day for all the Canadians!

Looks like it is going to be a nice day and pretty darn hot down here. I've got to go take a test today to see if I'm smart enough to be a postal worker. Smart enough? Maybe. Postal? No.

I hope everyone has a Great and Happy 4th of July weekend and be safe out there.

Morning All!

Beautiful morning here. Sunny and in the low 70's. Heating up to the 80's later with those storms coming our way, so humidity is on the rise! Closed the windows at home this morning and turned the AC back on. Sure hope those storms miss us tomorrow. I want to go to a show. Supposed to be around 90 here tomorrow.

Don't have any plans for the long weekend. Go to Newton Falls for the fireworks on the 4th - they have the best display around here. A ways to go, but it's worth it. They have a carnival there that goes all week too, so it's a nice thing to go to. I don't know if we'll have a cookout or not. I plan on bonding with my lounge chair when I'm not at a show!

Went to the Stow cruise in last night! Gorgeous evening and beautiful cars.... Life is good! Didn't take my camera with me, but it was mostly the usual cars there.

Scot..... Good luck on your test! Postal is what I get around here in the winter time, lol! I'm ready to shoot someone around February!!!!

Nicole will turn 19 on July 5th! Hard to believe! Boy I remember that 4th of July party I was at back in 1992, lol! Partied a little too hardy.....

Glad it's Friday! Been a long week. Well you all have a great day!

Well I got the house all stained as of yesterday so that's a crappy job done. Been a struggle crawlin out of bed and talking myself into getting back on the ladder to do it each day but little by little it got done. Today being a holiday there is nothing open so I think just stay home and relax is the thing to do. Been looking for mail this week but none arrived yet. Won't get any today either being a holiday so maybe next week.

Thanks Don! Was a great day! Beautiful and hot. Fireworks must have gone on for over an hour. Saw a Phantom F4(?) fly over my house yesterday and then a couple of Mustangs both had US markings. Then saw a couple of Spitfires (with Canadian markings) and then a few military jets (couldn't make out nationality).

Guess it's along weekend for you guys too. I'm now on vacation until after our car show so it a really long weekend for me. Got the car started and took it for a test run. Didn't bag on it. Want it to "seat" properly first, not that I'll bag on it then, but I may peel out every once in a while. July, my favorite month.

I took Blue Belle out for a spin with my TW in the right seat and Blue Belle kept stalling. Stale gas, I guess. Looks beautiful sitting in the "turn-around" but kinda spoiled my day. I've got all of the additives we're supposed to use, ie: Ethenol "fixer" and "lead substitute, and af course Stabil. I just ordered a quart of PRI-Gas treatment. I know the gas is stale after sitting all winter and spring. No parades this Independence Day.

I know what you mean. Took mine out again and she stalled . Wouldn't start. Sat for about 15 minutes and "varoom". My engine builder says set the timing at 4 deg. It won't be 4 deg until November. The closest I could get it was 13 deg. Well, back to th drawing board. I hate breaking in a new engine...

Here in Canada our motto is "Peace, Order and Good Government"....oh well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. I said the samething to a guy at work who was wearing a t-shirt that said "Filthy, Stinking, Rich"

Have a good weekend everyone, and if I'm not here on Monday, Happy 4th of July.

Evening All!

It was a tropical muggy day today. Miserable humidity! We had 3 passing T storms early this morning between 7 am and 9 am. I was out in the garage cleaning Teepo before 7. It would pour awhile, stop, and start again. Then it was just cloudy and ominus looking. Finally about 1:00 we got hazy sun, but the humidity was awful. You all can keep that in the south, lol!

I went over to Summit Racing for the Pop's car show.... Won a nice plaque! No classes, just plaques to the cars they liked I guess. When they were judging, they asked me if they could open the doors, so I said sure. That was a first for me! They looked under the seats and stuff. The one didn't like the scratches that are on the Body By Fisher door plate on the drivers side. I saw the one guy point at it and say something to the other 2 guys. Oh well, I'm not replacing them. Man, if you replace everything, the car becomes someone else, ya know?? She's 39 years old for heaven sake. Gotta have a few scratches here and there!

We have storms going on right now in places - must be why my internet connections are running so slow. I'm trying to download today's pics on photobucket, and it's taking forever!

Went and bought the last 5 copies of Cruisin Times that the Hudson auto parts had, lol! Got me a frame and took one magazine apart, and put the cover on one side and the page with Teepo's pic on it on the other side. Looks good! New addition to my "accessories" at the shows, lol! I'm just soooo proud of her!

Jamesbo.... you just make me laugh, lol!!! You do a good Beagle immitation!

Scot... glad you did good on the tests! Is this an inside position or mail carrier or what?? Hope you get the job if it's what you want. Just think of the holidays you'll get off lol!

Don.... sorry to hear you're havin troubles with Blue Belle! That's not good. I don't put anything in Teepo anymore and she runs good. I used to put lead additive in her, but don't anymore.

Well gotta go get some sleep - if I can. There are fireworks goin off all around here. Talk to ya tomorrow!

Good Evening All!

Sandy I have applied for an inside position. I have labored in this hot Georgia sun for 23 years and it's time to start looking toward a career that has benefits, retirement and hopefully a future. Thank you for the congrats and let me congratulate you on your plaque. Well done

I've been grilling my famous steaks and some fresh corn on the cob to go with the baked taters. Yummy! I still want to try that Shrimp a ya-ya soon, might just have to "attempt" to make it tomorrow. I did my version of a low country boil last eve and it was spectacular. My picky finicky eating daughters even loved it.

Jamesbo I bet that was a sight you being treed in the kitchen. Kinda reminds me of Jerry Clower and his coon huntin monkey.

I can't believe I'm first again today!

Citcapp, I've got 20 up on ya'll now!

Pat... Where are you!

Got to go out to the "Five Star Fireworks" trailer in the Ingles Super Market parking lot and get some sparklers for the fourth.

Do they still make sparklers? My idea of a great Fourth of July is to see if I can shoot off one rack of baby crackers (100) in an hour.

I can't believe how much louder a cannon cracker is since I got my hearing aids!

Poor Blue Belle is sitting in the turn-around with stale gas in her. Waiting for some PRI Fuel Treatment to get here. She keeps stalling. Maybe the idle speed is too slow?

Good Sunday Morning All!

Don they do still make the sparklers, my 8 y/o loves them. Ethanol is a terrible thing that is ruining a lot of great running vehicles. And to think that they are trying to increase its presence in gas from 10% to 15% is IMO a tragedy. It sounds to me like you may need to run some carb cleaner through your carb while revving it up so it doesn't stall. You may want to change the fuel filter as well. i hope you get it worked out.

We are about to go to town to grab some lunch and see what we can get into before it gets 100 degrees out.

Went to the Fireworks-Fireworks-Fireworks "Buy one, Get one Free!" store at the Ingles Supermarket in Landrum about an hour ago. The sparklers were NOT "Buy one, Get one free"when I got there.

Anyway, got a mess of sparklers to light up tonight and tomorrow night.

It was 95 deg. (35c.) to our northern friends, and I asked the guy if they were worried that it might get so hot that all the fireworks would go off, and he just looked at me. I was just trying to be cute, but I'm sure all he could think was "...just another old fool..."
