I'd hate to venture a guess. Where he lives right now I have no idea how far he is from any decent dining establishments? That might be the determing factor?

Jim - Great image/idea/car. The MG TD would fit me nicely painted BRG.

They arrived yesterday about 4pm. I cleaned enough of the house to be a host and got it all done shortly before they arrived. They bought a retro style mini fridge so their Jeep was 2 seater, so he and I went and got my van, and all three of us went and toured my new place. She had a hankering for pizza, so we just picked up on the way home. Hung out, slept, got up, they looked at my 68 H/O, then just left.

The 67 is arguably the best looking of 64-67.

That's awful. I hope you recover. Ticks are nasty. I put down some natural cedar granules, no ticks from yesterday out there, so hopefully working.

Pizza. We let her choose. Neither he nor I are picky.

Northern Evil has some establishments. The good news is the town is fairly small. You can get anywhere in 20 min. I offered to cook meatloaf.

You'd need to provide the name of the golf course as it appears there are at least two (or several) at/in Boonville.

Sorry Norm. Thank you for the info on my course.

What I meant was, what is a good game on your course so I know what your score means?

There are several factors which determine degree of difficulty: (1) Course yardage (length); (2) Course Rating & (3) Slope Rating.

Boonville longest yardage = 5900 yds; My course (Beaufort Club) longest yardage =

The Beaufort Club

Length = 7128 yds
Rating = 75.3
Slope = 141

A good score on my course (depending on tee selection) would be anywhere in the 70s. Comparably, I suspect I could shoot in the 60s at Boonville right out of the gate.

The fish are actually a relatively new strain/sub-species of Steelhead Trout (different species than Salmon) called a Skamania Steelhead, named after the Skamania Fish Hatchery in Washington State where they were genetically engineered, and then stocked in Lake Michigan. Their habits are like Salmon in that they are adaptable to both fresh and salt water, spawning in Wisconsin and Michigan Rivers, with some staying in Lake Michigan year round and some migrating to the Atlantic. I've read in multiple fishing magazines that lb. for lb. they are prized for being the hardest fighting fish in Lake Michigan being very acrobatic when breaching the surface when hooked. The ones caught by my Dad and Brother above were caught in Lake Michigan near the mouth of the St. Joseph River.

Hi guys,

Made it to the car cruise-in this afternoon/evening. Beautiful day here to get the car out for a drive and show it off. Car ran great and I saw several regulars I knew which was nice! You can check some pics out here if you're interested:

The Automowers look interesting but I'm afraid how well they would work on a fairly steep grade like I have going from my front down into my backyard.
We have a place were it´s a little steep but they work well , there is also a possibility to replace the wheels to more aggresive pattern.

I have had several ticks on the body but thought that it would be best to have vaccine before i got the virus. This small animals
can cause a lot of s&it. Have friends that have been paralyzed in half of their body for over a year and if you have bad luck and
the virus get into the brain you can have serios problems rest of your life.

Well, a little late to "guess the fish" game, I would have said Coho, but, after scrolling down, I see that I would have been wrong. Looking to get another battery for my Ego blower. I'll see if i can find a lower cost version. Took the Olds for another cruise, I thought that the gas gauge was working again, until I looked down at saw that it went from 1/4 to the full monty and then some. I really don't want to have to drop the tank. After I got home from my cruise, I saw that there had been a open house/car show at an auto restorer about two miles from me, never heard about it. Dang it.

Dan - I have one Ego device, the lawn/weed trimmer, I’ve had for I guess three years now. Very happy with it. It’s a 56V but can’t recall if it’s 2.5Ahr or 5Ahr. I’ve considered several times buying the hedge trimmer ($$).

Hi everyone.

Thanks Kenneth! You just can't beat a Barracuda. Because it's really a Valiant. Well, until the E Body came out in 70. You know what would be funny, if that guy took a picture of you and sent it to a MOPAR friend that liked Cutlasses.

I'd say that was a good first outing Chris. Lots of nice cars there. I had a 59 Fairlane just like the blue one, but mine was copper. I don't know if designers today could get that top to do that, but it was smooth as glass back then.

Dan I think every car I own I'm going to cut a hole above the sending unit. A gas tank is a pain no matter what it's in. The last F Body Camaro and Firebird I guess was terrible to take the tank out, and a popular mod is to cut a hole in the trunk floor over the sending unit/fuel pump. I wish I would have done that with the blue van when I had the tank out.

Walmart was fairly low key today. This afternoon I'm going to get a battery for the deckover and then take the lawn mower over to Mom's. I'm gonna focus on that yard this week, mowing and trimming and tree **** and, and, and...

Beautiful day here and perfect temperature. The rain was a non-issue yesterday, I think we got about 5 drops and it never really clouded over. Next chance is Wednesday. As much as I hate rain, we really need a good washing down of everything, to get rid of the winter crud that's built up and all the yellow pollen.

Okay have a good day everyone.

Wind is out of the NNE ~15mph HI ~ 53F. Feels like a cool/brisk fall day. Thankfully we had some rain last night/today. Watching LPGA golf. I make a great couch potato.

Thanks Mike. The car ran great after the long hiatus and I enjoyed myself, win/win, doesn't get any better.

Glad Wally World wasn't too stressful! Good luck with all the yard work at your Mom's home.

Norm, my Ego has the 56v 2.5ah battery. I also have the weed whacker/lawn edger combo, hence the need for another battery. Mike, my buddy had to access the sending unit on his wifes '98 Z/28 that way, he said it was a pain. X2 on the Johnsonville brats. Funny quick story, as a regular visitor to the Gilmore car museum, you can be there for a few hours, and of course food enters the conversation. They have a couple grills set up for cooking brats, chicken patties, and burgers. I walked up one time to place my order for a brat, a young kid was taking the orders, so I sez, I'd like a bratwurst, I got a puzzled look from him, and he replied with, we have brats, so I said, ok, I'll have one of them.

I had Wendys. May make a mug cake.

Today I hooked up the utility trailer and loaded all my luan plyboard from abandoned projects. I then went to Menards and bought more, and also bought conduit and parts and pipe. I now have most of the material for our target stands. We will build this weekend.

I unloaded at my new property, and moved a beer sign from the shop to the berm house for better storage. Thought about the house plans for a bit and went home.

Dan, I have replaced the fuel sending unit on my '71 with a repop aftermarket. Not happy with it- never goes all the way full. Goes to about 7/8 then down- and prolley 6-8 gals in it while gauge sez empty. Original one was just fine but it had came unsoldered at tube and when tank was really full would leak some and smell of gas. If I knew how this repop sender worked I should have tried to resolder it. So keep that in mind. I personally wouldn't cut a hole in your trunk floor...
