Chris I did have the injection last year. It was 300 bucks. Yes that is substantially less than the chews but I don't give Tiger the chews all year long. Of course they want me to because then they sell more but I tell them there are no mosquito's in the winter. This year I told them not to give him the shot and I'd just do the monthly. They fought me on it I said forget it. When the original guy opened the place in the 80s he was all about taking care of the animals and not getting rich. Now his clown son is running things and all he wants is the last dollar...

It definitely doesn't like some characters. I am beating it over the head with ascii.

For ****'s sake Norm. Couldn't you have put all that in one message? Are you feeling unusually lonely today?

Finished the work day with around 25 wheels. Not spectacular. Left 15 minutes early. I wonder which one of the supreme beings died. Got home and got some firewood cut up at Mom's. Been just beautiful all evening.

Well I'm beat. Gonna hit the sack and sleep in tomorrow and maybe do the Awful house for breakfast. Then hit the chores hot and heavy.

Good night everyone.

Good morning guys,

Well, I watched a sports marathon yesterday afternoon and evening. Western Michigan, Michigan, and Michigan State all advanced to the Quarter-Finals in the NCAA Men's Hockey Championship, and Michigan advanced to the Elite 8 in the Men's Basketball Championship, while Michigan State bowed out.

Going out to mow pretty soon after the dew is off the grass. It's pretty cool here this morning and not suppossed to get out of the mid-50s.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Well, I picked up a new set of wheels today.A sleek black Cannondale bike with a minimalist design, featuring thin tires and a modern frame. Ideal for urban commuting or casual rides.

Something to help with my fat *** maybe losing a couple of pounds. This replaces my Raleigh hybrid, which I've had for 19 years. I wanted something a little lighter and faster. I went to Holland, Mi. to get it, as there are no Cannondale dealers here. Drove down there, and couldn't find them even though I was at the spot that my phone said was correct. Gave them a call, I was a few blocks away on the same street. After getting there, I told them where I was, turns out that was their old location, It wasn't updated in my phone.

I was invited to a dinner this afternoon with my neighbors. I don't believe I'm contagious, but to be on the safe side (for them) and reduce my chances I'd catch something (again), I opted not to go. They just stopped by & brought me a nice "to go" plate. Thoughtful.

Norm - Considerate of you not to go, and considerate of them to bring you the meal. That's the way it's supposed to work. 😃

A nice looking bike Norm. As my Raleigh was a hybrid, it saw paved and dirt trails, and it did a decent job, but most of the pathways around here are paved, and I decided as that was where most of my riding was done, a road bike would be a better choice. Besides, with a hybrid and a little off roading, I might be more inclined to wiping out, and as I get older, I really don't want spend time recovering from breaks and bruises.

--Good Morning!! Well when we were on our trip Linda and I both got a bad cold. When we got back it seemed it was all done with the snot, congestion, etc. Then 2 days ago I got all clogged up. Really different as it didn't feel like a cold- just felt like I had plugs in my nostrils. Can't breathe thru my nose. Hard to sleep and when I did- mouth all dried out, etc- been breathing thru mouth. Coricedan HBP didn't help, I got some" Breathe right" strips ( I remember they worked really well years ago) but found they don't stick well even after making sure skin was clean. So I ended up putting 2 strips on - Look ridiculous, but staying in house anyway. Still a bad night- like my snot is glue. Isn't it something how when a problem with health comes up it really is annoying- you don't think about how perfect everything is going until you have a glitch..
-- Been working in barn- starting to do spring things- Yay!! Put battery in old truck, got 3 rider mowers ready ( 2 to sell), took a ride on quad looking at all the trees that have fallen over trails, picking up branches in yard, took batteries and spray paint/cleaners, etc out of basement, into barn. good times.. simple pleasures.... Olds is sort of stuck behind trailers so haven't messed with it yet. There is still ice on most of the lake- most of the lakes around here are open, I'll bet ours will be in a couple days, I hope we don't have a April snowstorm- it has happened before.

Didn't do much yesterday. Burned long and hard on Saturday on yard trash. Fire was on from noon to midnight. I think it was the hottest I have had it; I couldn't get next to it at times. My fire ring (recreational grade) is deforming under the heat and weight of the commercial level stuff I am doing. I cleared about a third of the mess from the trees that came down last year that has spend that year piled in that area of the property. Did not smoke, poison ivy, or migraine, or be-tick, or injure myself, so I count that as a win.

Good morning everyone.

Only 4 this week, and I'm gonna take next Monday and Tuesday off for a nice long weekend. I should be able to get something done. Gonna be a busy week this week as well.

So last week I took Tiger to the vet for an ear infection. The dr. gave me drops for his ears that went surprisingly well for the first few days. Then I noticed he seemed to be losing his hearing. Hm. Then last night he about took my head off when I went to put the drops in his ears. I thought, this ain't right, so I looked this medicine up, and also actually read the notice that was in the box with the stuff. It says it causes hearing loss, Wikipedia says it's sometimes permanent in people, and it also causes burning where it touches. That explains his reaction. The notice says the same thing, and it says if hearing loss occurs discontinue immediately. His ears seem to be better so that's that. If he starts digging at them again we'll do something different.

Greg being sick is no good but being sick on vacation really sucks. I've come down sick on my trip to Australia a couple times, try getting treatment when you're in a difference country. I actually made a trip to the ER once and gave them my insurance card, which of course didn't jive with their system, and they just sent me on my way. No charge for treatment. I don't think that would happen on this side of the pond.

John if you don't draw blood you're not working hard enough. Around me burning has to stop at 6pm. Which, no one comes around to look unless you have shitty neighbors that call on you.

I still have the bike I got as a birthday present in 1978. A Schwinn Collegiate 5 speed. That guy has to have a million miles on it, I rode -everywhere- when I was a kid. Bought new tires for it a couple years ago and took it all apart to clean and lube. Been slowly getting it back together, though I don't have a good place to ride. Eh, it will look nice sitting in the living room.

There's a lull in the activity, so I'll get ready for break. Hope everyone has a good day.
