So get this, heard today a farmer caught a cougar yesterday, and no it wasn't a divorced 40 year old women.lol The guy set out some traps for coyotes, the guy was surprised to see a cougar in the trap. We all are,it's the second time one was caught and seen in Manitoba.

I take it you never heard this story of the 18 month old retriever who saved an 11 year old boy from a Cougar. Dog was almost killed , but luckily a Canadian police officer was half a block away on a call when he received the assistance request. Dog's name ironically.....is Angel.

I hope it was a humane trap. If you're going to kill an animal it should be quick. If it's one of those leg traps, perhaps someone should throw the farmer in it just so he gets a feel of what it's like.

I quite like to see people who hurt animals getting hurt too Ken.
I love seeing bulls getting back at bull fighters and those who taunt them.
Here's a guy who is damned lucky a bull terrier happened to be passing by.

There was a cougar shot just a few months ago less than 40 miles from Kansas City someplace in Kansas on a farm.

Found one in downtown Chicago not long ago. Probably an illegal owner who let it go.

We live on a creek close to White Rock Lake in Dallas. Regularly, we see possum's, coons, a family of hawks (beautiful), snakes, and a bobcat. Recently saw a coyote in the creek, and running down the street, out front, at 9 AM!!! Next door neighbor sent pictures of a fox family living under their deck. Live and let live, I say.

Yep that happened out in BC I believe, some time last year, Seen it on the news poor dog. That dog would earn the right to eat at the dinner table with the family.

looks like I will have to join your club, when Oz is all restored and ready to roll .I only live 12 hours away, that would make a nice road trip. I have family up in St Paul, that would even make a better reason to go.
