Somebody is going to get a very nice car for not a lot of money. It has a good chance of remaining a survivor and being messed up into a hot rod, or resto mod because it's a four door post sedan. I love this car!

 

Hopefully it will go to a home that appreciates its originality, and not be butchered up with a LS swap.

I have to say that while that car is gorgeous, I would not have pegged the sold price that high.

 

OUCH! And here I was thinking we were finally going to see a somewhat bargain price, not to be, I guess.

 

Agree, most of us have been around long enough to know if you only starting driving that car to the burger stand on Saturday night it will start falling apart.Hopefully the new owner has a collection of cars and he added the 61 to it and does not drive it. Its a time capsule.

 

That would be a shame. These cars were great drivers.

 

If it's a good operable car, and you can't drive it, why own it?
