Great looking car. Was just reading your posts about the slim jim swap to the TH350. Sorry to see you are selling it. What was the total cost to do that conversion? Do you recommend it?

GLWS! Getting rid of that Slim Jim Rotohydramatic was the best thing to do to that car. I don't know how much it cost or how big a hassle it was though.

I had no choose ,just could not get slim jim fixed , the kit with shipping was told around 7000 , when I bought mine from Ross racing it was 5400 , I drove out to get it save on shipping , its a lot of work to install on 62 , if you look up member KQQCAT they did it to 61 olds ,was an easier install , I had my slim jim rebuilt twice and still would slip in high gear , both times it was over 5grand , I am happy with swap ,runs really great now , cars no good if I can't drive it . According to that body tag, it was the first 1962 Dynamic 88 convertible assembled at South Gate, CA.
It was assembled the third week of August 1961.
