‘70 442 4 Speed convertible on BaT
Just curious, as i am trying to determine the value of my car restored, and whether I want to invest the time and money.
I have always wondered if burgundy was thee Olds color, sorta like red is to Ferrari. It was so insanely prevalent over the years.
Personally, my 66 442, 87 442, and 87 Supreme were all burgundy. As well as my brothers 79 Supreme. and we were not looking for burgundy cars...
Of course markets vary, is this the best time to get top dollar who knows ... My guess this car on auction may pull 125k, but again what is the current sellers market atmosphere... that may dictate everything. Maybe the potential high bidder loses a fortune on the Super bowl and he doesn't feel like getting another toy... As always the old adage applies, no guarantees except ...
