Wheel cylinder question 69 442

For some reason my rear wheel cylinder which only has a couple hundred miles on it is leaking. The local Napa has a couple in stock but they both have different bore sizes, 7/8 and 1". Does anyone know which is recomended for my car or can I use either one?
Thanks, Rob

Front disc brakes take the smaller bore and front drum use the larger bore cylinders.

little confused, but I think your saying front drums use the larger bore so the rear drums would use the smaller bore at 7/8.
Thanks

no if your car has disc brakes the rear drum will take the smaller bore cylinder and if it has drums up front it takes the larger bore in the rear

Now I understand. The car now has front discs, so I will use the smaller bore.
Thanks
