Front spindles for 68 cutlass

Front spindles for 68 cutlass

I have a set of 68 cutlass front spindles from a power drum brake car. Are these good for anything else? Should I hang onto them or recycle them? I'm trying to clean out old stuff.

Drum brake spindles become disc brake spindles with some very, very simple machining.

the suspense is killing me. Is it just drilling the bolt holes larger?

Actually, the boss that the upper backing plate bolt goes into must be machined down. See the attached article:
